Me
at sea - I really wanted a sega (radio (3:02)
Me
at sea is Isaak Strand, an electronic musician
and producer from Bergen. He works with different musical projects such as electro, techno and crossover
stuff such as Moen meets Me at sea.
He also produces
studio and live recordings for different bands in a
variety of genres.
Me at sea is mostly instrumental and is focused
around the idea of giving the audience a new angle
of the verse/refrain experience. On stage, he brings his most
energetic tunes, hammering on his analog synth, drums
and keyboard.

Els
Hanappe interviewed by Chris Hawtin
Els
Hanappe studied art history at the University
of Ghent in Belgium. She moved to Greece, more than
11 years ago.
Her partner, John Zervos, helped her with restoring
the Soap Factory in Paradissos Amaroussiou, the 19th century
stables that were later turned into an industrial
enterprise. Unfortunately, the premises were confiscated
by the state and after a number of exhibitions, she
opted for a more mobile archive, C3A or Contemporary
Art Archive in Athens.
She donated the archive to the Deste Foundation and
opened a gallery herself, called Els Hanappe Underground (see els.hanappe.com for extensive information and programme).
She ran this space for more than 5 years but at the
end of last January she decided to leave it and channel
her efforts into a creative office that is more flexible
and more apt to conduct research, offer services,
and organise presentations. |

Carlos
Slazenger - Audio Obstacle Course 01 (59:59)
'carlos
slazengers audio obstacle course'
the home of hi-fi twaddle since 1969
Ex
pat resonance fm dj carlos slazenger sets up in Athens
bringing his genre crunching mix of incredibly strange
rock'n'roll, outsider disasters and ill advised celebrity
recordings. Expect to have your predjudices demolished
as you enjoy naive masterpieces alongside the best
underground music & occasional 80s pop. But be
warned: anything goes in Carlos's world of musical
disorientation. |
