Davide Bertocchi -Top 100 - vol.3
Top 100 was born in 2003 when Davide Bertocchi asked 100 curators and critics a very simple question, though full of symbolic implications: the title of their favorite song. That unique and only song, for example, that they would bring with them to a desert island. In reality, this request stresses the most basic aesthetic choice and Bertocchi is interested in exactly this gesture – simple and complete, but always less evident in a period of criticism globalised to a unified consensus.
"The 3rd volume is the last cd of the trilogy and it follows the same logic of the others with different people and it will be associated to Janus 22 (Brussels).
Each of the 3 cds are associated to 3 different magazines ( the first cd with, Zerodeux magazine, Paris-Nantes - the second with Nuke magazine, Paris).
On those magazines you can find a double page about the project with the Top100 poster. Janus 22 will come out during Venice Biennale next june."
