Total Running time (02:35:54)

Maria Nymfiadi - Forest - 00:15:03

By using the sound as a medium, the listener may travel in time through images. In Forest the attention is drawn on the observance of the surroundings in relation to the personal experience of redefining identity. It is another reality, in different time, which simply lets the listener lose himself somewhere in this perpetual change of time and memories.

Forest
was presented for the first time as a loop, in a group show. The listener would sit on a bench and look at the works shown in the same room while listening to the piece in headphones. In its current form, on artwaveradio, only its initial piece is presented without loop.

Jazz Parable Of The Crack-head Featuring Little Annie & Kid Congo Powers - 00:02:17
(Part 2 of the sound-tryptich JAZZ FOR A NEW SOCIETY)
Guest-Vocalists: Little Annie & Kid Congo Powers

What always strikes me when I am walking in the alleys of medieval villages or medieval parts of cities is the fact that they don’t follow one big city-builder’s masterplan, but that they are conglomerations of many individual imaginations that just happened to become concrete form at one specific place.
One bright sunny day, when I was walking around in the alleys of Venice…

He is a lecturer at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, as well as in the universities of Hamburg and Luhneburg.
